Liza Goddard is a popular English TV and stage actress who made many early television appearances in Australia where her father worked as head of Drama at the Australian Broadcast Corporation.

She is  best remembered down-under for her role as Clarissa "Clancy" Merrick in Skippy the Bush Kangaroo.

She really made a name for herself after returning to the UK in 1969 with roles in many  popular dramas including Take Three Girls, The Brothers, Bergerac and many others.

For many years she was also the female team leader on long-running quiz/panel show Give Us A Clue.
