Actress Rohan McCullough, flutist Clive Conway, and pianist Nathan Tinker will perform ‘The Passionate Life of Claude Debussy’ with British acting legend Robert Powell at Bucharest’s George Enescu Festival

British acting legend Robert Powell will be joined by actress Rohan McCullough, flutist Clive Conway, and pianist Nathan Tinker in Bucharest’s George Enescu Festival as they form the cast of the ‘The Passionate Life of Claude Debussy’ show. 

Rohan McCullough is known for her roles in Malice Aforethought, Charlie Muffin, Dealers, War Requiem, and Strapless. Early on Rohan had made a name playing three different women from different backgrounds on stage as she performed the magical children’s writer Beatrix Potter, the pacifist author of Testament Of Youth Vera Britain, and Clementine Churchill. 

Clive Conway is a specialist flute recitalist and chamber musician. He had studied at the Royal Academy of Music alongside Sir Simon Rattle and Annie Lennox, and has since made commercial recordings for Saga and Meridian Records. He is also co-founder and consultant at Oxford Flute Summer School, as well as the theatrical impresario behind the phenomenon that is ‘An Audience With…’, where his guests range from leaders of political parties and journalists to scientists and actors.

Professional pianist Nathan Tinker has performed at the Royal Albert Hall, Hampton Court House, St. Martin's in the Fields, Wigmore Hall, and many others. He has also performed internationally at Corsica, Italy, France, Romania and his native Japan. In 2016 he was the winner of the Guildhall Accompanist Prize. Also a keen composer, Nathan has composed 'Fantasy on Japanese Themes' for violin and piano written for violinist and founder of the Resono Collective, Ioana Forna, and 'Topsy Turvy' written for long-standing award-winning duet partner Mark Taylor for flute and piano, the latter of which was performed in the inaugural Islington Festival of Music and Art.
